Dear Parents and Students,

 

Welcome to 5th grade Chinese dual immersion program at Lone Peak Elementary! I believe that we will have a great year. I'm so glad that I could have this opportunities to work with these groups of amazing kids.

With the best support from the district and parents, the Chinese immersion students is going into their 5th year, YEAH! I have heard from pricipals, teacehrs, and administritors that Lone Peak students are the best kids in the district. My goal with our students will be helping them to achieve a higher level not only within Chinese but also within the content knowledge. Students will get better with Chinese reading, writing, speaking, and listening. As some of you might already know, 5th grade science will be taught in Chinese. I believe that it is critical for them to understand the science concepts. It would be great if we could work together on making that happen. If you have some ideas about reinforce the concept at home, please share it with me and others.

It is my first year teaching, and I will try my best to help my students achieve. We will keep in touch mostly with this website, through email, and notes take home. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me.
